You can't "reinstall" an MSI. You need to do an update of some kind, like a patch, major upgrade, minor update etc. The MSI should not have got this far if you really just tried to reinstall the same MSI - it would gone into maintenance repair mode or told you the product was already installed, so you'll need to explain exactly what you did to get to this point.
