I cannot see any pattern that might be causing the problem. Can someone tell me what to do to gather more information? It seems almost as though I'd need to run light.exe in a debugger to figure this one out. Also, this does not seem to be the path length issue. Path length is around 200 characters, not near the 255 character limit.
