You can dynamically set an install directory with the SetDirectory element. The WebVirtualDir element, in the IIS extension, uses the Directory property to point to a Directory element. So if you set up your Directory element, point to it with WebVirtualDir, and use SetDirectory to change its target path, that ought to work.
