sorry for the confusion. Try to re-describe the issue. Build Bundle: - All packages included in single web package (NetFX 4.51 + our installer): MyBootstrapper.exe - Rename to MyBootstrapper_1.00_x86.exe
Test Bundle on Win 7 VM: MBAPreq appears -> Install NetFx 4.51 success -> Reboot -> OurBAL appears -> Start Install -> Before mentioned log + error 0x80070002 So how to tell the engine how to use WixBundleOriginalSource (C:\Users\MyCompany\Desktop\Release\MyBootstrapper_1.00_x86.exe). And not C:\Users\MyCompany\Desktop\Release\MyBootstrapper.exe? OnResolveSource? Can this set the installation source to WixBundleOriginalSource? Or how to tell the BAL to use the renamed Bundle? When we do not rename the bundle it works perfectly.
