Greetings, We are working on a custom bootstrapper application and would like to support repair. Our current idea is to run the ba (from the cache) with a repair flag that will force various MSI's installed to run in repair mode. The BA, and the MSI's installed are all in the cache on the PC. The questions we have are:
1. Can the cached BA call repair against other MSI's in the cache? 2. Currently all MSI's reside in a specific guid folder in the cache. Is this the correct structure if I wanted to support repair? Or should all MSI's reside within the same cached guid folder? I'm thinking about issues with resolving the source... Any help/guidance would be appreciated.
