For those interested, the solution was to implement code in the Ca's Mutation, which avoids the call to schedule the deferred action, to also add code that parses the CData Property and replaces MAGIC_MULTISZ_DELIM with a more suitable 7-bit ASCII character (which is appropriate for the data set being tested). This was simple to do using StrReplaceStringAll(). Thanks again for all the help!
