You can use DevEnv /safemode to start visualstudio up in safe mode to see what the issues could be, otherwise, you may need to repair; I have it installed and it appears to be ok here.

After installing it though, I am now in a situation where Visual Studio no longer opens. I can see the devenv.exe process start, but then immediately terminate once it gets to the splash screen. Has anyone seen this happen? Any suggestions as to how to proceed? I don't see any entries in Event Viewer when this happens. Visual Studio 2013 (which I also have installed on the machine) continues to function correctly.
