If running DPInstall.exe on the command line fails, then those issues should be resolved first. Have you enabled verbose driver setupAPI logging? https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/ff550808%28v=vs.85%29.aspx
I think it is recommended that you use the Wix DifxAppExtension to install a pnp driver using a MSI package. A non-pnp driver may require a different approach. You might also want to look at pnputil.exe to validate the state of the driver cache after you attempt to install the driver. -- View this message in context: http://windows-installer-xml-wix-toolset.687559.n2.nabble.com/Driver-installation-fails-tp7600354p7600355.html Sent from the wix-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ One dashboard for servers and applications across Physical-Virtual-Cloud Widest out-of-the-box monitoring support with 50+ applications Performance metrics, stats and reports that give you Actionable Insights Deep dive visibility with transaction tracing using APM Insight. http://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/clk/290420510;117567292;y _______________________________________________ WiX-users mailing list WiX-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wix-users
