Hi Samir,

This is a production, work environment where I have many windows and jobs
opened up and in progress at the same time... as such, I haven't logged out
in over a week. When I do, I'll try to give it a test. It would be the
exact same test, minus the vnc server and client stuff. The adduser and tar
steps would be the same.

That is right. Please read the next 2 sentences carefully.

I reproduced the bug with the instructions I emailed, which included
different configuration files (should be attached to email).

I cannot reproduce the bug with fresh configuration files. That is why I
included config files. This is called a "test case", where you supply the
resources for someone else to reproduce the bug.

You can check for "corruption" yourself, I attached the config files. Did
you look at them? I do not believe they are corrupted.

Fair enough, I'm not your boss. Thanks for responding thus far.

I tried my best, but I suspect you have not followed the details that I
emailed, which is possibly why you can't reproduce the bug.

thanks,
Paul
