Hi, having lost track a bit on the recent development and patches I'd like to ask for a feature which has been nagging me for a while now. I let WM focus new windows which is nice and makes sense. Now if I start a program, say firefox, and it takes a while to load I may have already switched workspaces before the window actually appears. What happens now is not what I want: while I am working on something else the workspace gets switched to the one where I have started firefox (I have it configured to open in a particular workspace) and the progam has the focus.
This is quite annoying in particular if I am just typing something and firefox then receives thoese keystrokes. I am not quite sure if this has to do with the new-windows- get-focus thing, maybe it's the program which requests focus, but could we not introduce a featue (if it is not yet there) to WM which suppresses this kind of behaviour? Something like: "never switch workspaces to receive focus"?
