Hello, WPrefs uses now getopt. I thought the binary would be smaller, but it is 200 bytes bigger. Can someone explain? the function is in a shared lib, isn't it? ( glibc? ) ( striped versions ) Probably caused by the long_option-struct?
I am doing the same now for WM. WM can handle xpm out of the box and if tiff is present, it switches to use tiff. Do we need that? I saw a crucial routine how it finds out, if tiff is present. Even there is a flag for it: USE_TIFF. I would like to skip tiff support for internal use, unless someone comes up with a reason.
