The conversation about the website has died again. (Or I lost it.)
I want to build the website for WindowMaker and was hoping to get
permission to start doing that. I figure it should have the following
at least. (I would love your comments on it.)
* Users Section
* What is WindowMaker
* Installation
* Configuration
* Getting Help
* Giving Back
*Developer Section
* Some Developing Management Software
* Bug Reporting
* Feature Request
* Mailing List
This is the minimum for the site. I would like to see more social
networking aspects put into the site. (Forms, Themes, Special Howto,
etc...)
My Plan of Implementation would be as follows:
# Create "What is WindowMaker"
# Create "Create Installation"
# Create "Getting Help
# Create "Configuration"
# Create "Giving Back"
I here there are some development tools that you guys would like to use.
I say you guys can have at that section and we should keep other things
like the mailing list the way it is. (It's not broken so why fix it.)
Design wise I would attempt to give a fresh look to the site with
something that can really show what windowmaker can do for the user.
What do you guys think?
