FWIW I've been noticing this too with the little daemon for popping up
notification windows ... whenever a notification happens a new app tile
shows up, then disappears after a while. Since there is no GUI window
for this, I have nothing that I can use to set the window properties the
usual way, so I think the solution is likely to be to write an entry in
WMWindowAttributes by hand, but I haven't figured out what to use for
the window title yet. :)
