According to the doc, all the configuration files pass through it; a little investigation seem to show that only the menu are actually post-processed. It can be disabled both at compile time and through a command-line option. It seems that the default provided menu does use this feature, so removing it will not only break current users' configs but also the default setup (through some warnings in the stdout/logs and a few non-working menu entries). On first approach, it looks thinkable to implement some behaviour directly inside wmaker without breaking too much compatibility. -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [email protected].
