Hi,

Because it was pretty easy to translate and fun to do, I finished this translation based on the Dutch language files already in Window Maker. The structure of the sentences are mostly the same as in Dutch, so I could use search & replace a lot. The Fryske Akademy has got some very good translation tools and error checking online, which helped debugging it. For the rest I followed my own (mainly passive, but good) knowledge of Frisian.

Frisian is the closest little cousin of the English language (according to Wikipedia), and it's the mother language of Doutzen Kroes. Software translations into Frisian are appreciated by a relatively small group of people. On the other hand, it could be a reason on it's own for people to install Window Maker. Other software with Frisian translations are Gnome, KDE, Firefox among others.

Carlos, would you add this to Window Maker? I think the files are good enough to be used by anyone.

Kind regards,
