Hello everyone,

Once again, since WMaker doesn't appear to have any kind of official
bug-reporting system, I'm reporting a bug I've encountered on here. Hopefully
the dev team will notice it. This one is actually pretty serious.

Window Maker apparently doesn't know how to handle "unusual" windows, including
WINE windows and windows that don't have titlebars. Here's an example of the
most annoying bugs that I've encountered:

- Steam (Linux-native version): The window cannot be moved or resized at all.
It does not even respond to ALT-dragging. It is possible to use Window
Attributes to force it to have a titlebar and resizebar, after which it can be
moved, but changes are not saved, and the next time Steam starts it is missing
the titlebar/resizebar again.

- MS Office 2010 (through Crossover Office): The windows move twice as far as
they should when dragged by the titlebar. This makes it easy to accidentally
move the window completely off the screen. ALT-dragging works properly, however.

- REAPER (http://reaper.fm, through WINE): This is the most annoying bug, by
far. Whenever the REAPER window is redrawn, it moves down and to the right by
one pixel each. You can see this in the splash screen, which will scoot across
the screen as it animates. This makes REAPER almost impossible to use, and is
incredibly annoying.

All of these bugs are unique to Window Maker; when running the offending
programs under any other WM, the bugs disappear. Is this just a quirk of WMaker
that I have to live with, or is there a way to fix these, with some setting or
external program that could suppress these issues? Either way, this is
something that probably needs to be addressed in the next version of WMaker.

Distro: Ubuntu 13.04 (Raring Ringtail)
WMaker Version: 0.95.3
