Hello everybody, I found the cause of the problem but it is not really solved for the moment.
Since my system upgrade, something has changed around xrandr. I cannot see the dock because it is "painted" outside of the physical screen. Before the upgrade, xrandr output was (extract) : Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1600 x 900, maximum 8192 x 8192 After the upgrade, xrandr output is : Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 2624 x 900, maximum 32767 x 32767 But xrandr gives me another "screen" named "VGA-1". xrandr says that it is connected but this screen does not exist!! So I typed this command : xrandr --output "VGA-1" --off My screen blinked a bit but it seems that nothing has changed. VGA-1 is always here but the line "Screen 0" has changed. It is now : Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1600 x 900, maximum 32767 x 32767 Current value is now "1600 x 900" which is good. But the dock is always invisible. Si I tried to restart Window Maker via the menu "Session". Bingo!! The dock is visible at the right place! But unfortunately, if I exit my Window Maker session and start it again, xrandr comes back with wrong values and the dock is still invisible. Any idea? Thanks.
