Hello, I have been using wmaker ever since I started using Gentoo which makes some 10+ years and it kind of rocks all those years!
Recently I started having issues with unresponsive mouse on ROOT window (e.g. right-click does not show menu): scim was the culprit. There is a bug filed, but it suggested upstream report: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=434138 I guess not many scim+wmaker users will catch it, so asking if anyone has seen such problem. scim-1.4.14 causes pain, scim-1.4.11 works fine. Just filed a bug on scim's tracker as well: https://sourceforge.net/p/scim/support-requests/9/ Is there any way to debug what is going on? simple strace on the wmaker process showed absolutely nothing when clicking the mouse on the ROOT (as opposed to clicking an icon), the events simply get stopped somewhere. I have no idea how many layers are involved from the hardware to wmaker, but if there is any way to debug what is failing - do let me know. Cheers, Kalin. -- To unsubscribe, send mail to wmaker-user-unsubscr...@lists.windowmaker.org.
