I'm no native speaker, which is obvious.
But I think 'workspace' is a well-known term, which don't
implies the existence of other static workspaces in general. It
only reflects the viewable windows at this time.
'view' sounds rather abstract to me.

View is better in my opinion, as a view is flexible. A workspace implies a very fixed structure. FWIW, I am a native English speaker.
