Fair enough.  But say the user wants his second column
to be 40%.  Does that really give us any idea  what he wants
his third and (heavens forbid!) 4th column would be.   I guess
it is a useful hack to get me my precious one big window,
but it only deserves to go into wmii-3 if it truly is trival.
