Another way as talked on irc: http://wmii.de/irc/%23wmii-20060423 at 13:25 is to empty /def/keys to have bare mode: $ echo -n | wmiir write /def/keys
and as actually wmiirc can be run from a terminal, when you wan to recover the default bindings just do: $ wmiirc & That's all.
