A better solution would be to leave the, now empty, view open until the user
switches to another view manually. But this has been disussed before and
postponed for wmii-4.
I'm strongly in favor of this. I'm aware of the previous discussions, but
still would love to see it in rc5. If not, then I hope it happens early in
wmii-4.

Could you please stop trying to convince garbeam to change wmii-3
after _feature-freeze_? There will be enough possibilities to change
things for wmii-4.
