FWIW, MS bar is only on the bottom by default. You can configure it to any of the 4 sides. Same is true of KDE and (I think) Gnome. Me too, but I don't really care that much. I like it on the bottom.Anyways: I vote for having the bar configurable, either on top or on bottom.
