The wmii-3 branch is the stable branch of wmii-3. No major changes. wmiirc's of wmii-3 are compatible with wmii-3.1. wmii[-4] is the development branch, which might be unstable or contain major changes (actually atm it is quite *unstable*, thus don't use it, next week it might be more stable again).
