I believe he's talking about increment handling, in which case
you can't tell it to use all the available space.

Is there a similar option in wmii-3?

Several possibilities:

- Retag the terminal with max and switch to max view with one
shortcut (see the code snippets page in the wiki).

- Toggle the client floating ($MODKEY-Shift-Space) and make it
 fullscreen ($MODKEY-f)
