Yeah, it's pretty insane... I'm not particularly close to any of the fires (maybe 25 miles to the closest), don't have particularly sensitive lungs, and I'm having trouble breathing. I drove about 15 miles down the coast to try to get some relief, and things were just as bad there.
Haven't been able to watch tv since this morning, when my roommate and I found ourself glued to a station showing flames approaching the last house standing in its neighborhood. It was kind of like watching a police chase and knowing that, whatever happened, the driver was going to get caught -- but, oh yeah, this was a FIRE and stuff was BURNING. Cough, wheeze.... --Rose On Sat, Nov 15, 2008 at 3:36 PM, Deborah Speer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>wrote: > > Thanks, Danny. > just wow. > --deb > > > --- On Sat, 11/15/08, danny burstein <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > From: danny burstein <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > Subject: [misc] The LA Fires Live Feed (fwd) > > To: "wnn" <[email protected]> > > Date: Saturday, November 15, 2008, 1:08 PM > > (courtesy of a post to alt.obituaries) > > > > > From: "MWB" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > > Newsgroups: alt.obituaries > > > Subject: The LA Fires Live Feed > > > Date: Sat, 15 Nov 2008 15:50:25 -0500 > > > > http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/livenow?id=6507463 > > > > This is beyond words. > > > > > > Mark > > > > > > > > > > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "World News Now Discussion List" group.
