Might I recommend that instead of the quagmire involved with appointing her to NY's seat in the US Senate, she instead get named as the head of a revamped and expanded "Peace Corps"? To use a vastly oversimplified bumper sticker slogan, we (the US) send helicopter gunships to Latin America while Castro sends doctors. Guess who's winning the hearts and minds. One of the greatest moves, both politically and for international human improvement, was the establishment of the Peace Corps. And the original head was Sergeant Shriver, a member of the extended Kennedy family. Placing another Kennedy in charge would send a very strong signal to the world that the US has rediscovered its moral compass.
