Disney's TV Unit Will Cut 400 Jobs The television division of the Walt Disney Company announced Thursday that it would eliminate about 400 jobs from its work force of 6,500 to 7,000, as part of a cost-cutting effort to deal with what it called a weakening economy.
The job cuts will affect all the departments of the Disney-ABC Television Group, as the division is called.
