        That's a pity.  He was a really funny guy, and was also a regular in  
alt.tv.mash where he answered questions about the show and his work,  
including ``How come the pilot starts by saying Korea, 1950, was a  
hundred years ago when it was only twenty years before the show was  
made?'', with reliable good humor.
