Well, the state budget fiasco, and the economy is leading higher education to huge tuition, fee and other increases, pay cuts and layoffs. UCB is the first to fight back. You know if we went back to the top 1% paying taxes at 90%+ as we had in 1944-1963 or the 70%+ we had from 1964-1980 a lot of problems would go away....
