There are two Maines. Lobster Maine and Moose Maine. Lobster Maine is along the coastline and generally pretty hip and progressive and laid-back. Moose Maine is up in the interior of the state and tends to be very conservative and uptight and ... uh... heavy drinkers. Moose Maine won out this time.
