Last Updated On: 7/8/2010 11:25:37 AM In Thursday morning's primetime Emmy announcements, *"The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien"* received four Emmy nominations, including one for outstanding variety, music or comedy series, while the Jay Leno version was ignored. Conan's *"Tonight"* is up against *"The Colbert Report," "The Daily Show," "Real Time With Bill Maher"* and *"Saturday Night Live,"* in that category. Team Coco also garnered nominations for directing, writing and art direction. *"The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,"* which replaced Conan's version in March, and *"The Jay Leno Show,"* which aired in primetime on NBC during the first part of the season both came out with no nominations. The Emmys will be awarded on a live telecast on NBC and 11Alive on Sunday, August 29 -- which could lead to the potentially awkward position of NBC, who fired Conan, airing his Emmy acceptance speech, should he win<http://origin.11alive.com/life/story.aspx?storyid=146149&catid=183#> . His new show, now with the working title of *"The Conan O'Brien Show,"*is set to premiere on TBS on November 8. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "World News Now Discussion List" group.
