The 92-year-old Pardo used to fly back and forth between Tucson and
New York City for each "SNL" episode, but not anymore. Pardo, whose
voice has opened "Saturday Night Live" since its launch in 1975, will
do the voice work for the opening of the show and "Weekend Update"
from a studio in Tucson.
