The only thing that would make Scott happier is that if Rachel had
mentioned this on the show. (And indeed, Scott has already added to
the comments of this blog post!)

I'm proud to say that Scott has been a close friend for over 15 years
now, and in fact, I was with him when he took many of the photos for
the calendar over the past few years. I think about 3 years ago, I
was there for nearly half the pictures, including a couple which were
taken from the passenger side of my car.

I think I broke my streak for 2011, as my travel hasn't nearly been as
extensive.

Scott also has a regular "Tower Site of the Week" feature which goes
in-depth at these visits.

Here's one from our "Icy Slide Across Indiana" a few years ago (I was
the driver, and my Saturn probably stlll hasn't recovered :D):

I just caught up with Scott and Lisa the other day. Lisa's family is
from Fort Wayne IN (they live in Rochester), and they make it through
here a few times a year...Scott, Lisa, and their two kids Ari and Eli.

Sorry for the detail, but I'm thrilled when Scott gets some pub! He
was even mentioned by Paul Harvey once, and a site he edits was a
"Jeopardy!" answer...
