So, it appears to me that it's possible for a person (who in this kind of situation is generally a "starlet", one might imagine) to violate probation, and then violate probation on that violation, IN PERPETUITY. Does anyone know what the current record is for this kind of chain-of-offenses? Say, if a starlet in the 1960's started on this path, could such be *still* attempting to extricate themselves?
