[VOA] South Africa's Olympic 'Blade Runner' Charged with Murder
South Africa's famous Olympic sprinter, Oscar Pistorius, has been arrested and charged with murder following a deadly shooting at his residence in Pretoria. Police say Pistorius, known as the "Blade Runner'' for his racing prosthetics, is cooperating with the investigation.
Pistorious was taken into custody early Thursday for allegedly shooting and killing his girlfriend at his home.
