http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/04/24/zooey-deschanel-boston-bombing-suspect/ Zooey Deschanel gets apology after being misidentified as Boston bomber by Associated Press New Girl star Zooey Deschanel is getting an apology after being mistakenly identified as one of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects. During coverage by the Fox network affiliate KDFW in Dallas-Fort Worth of Friday’s manhunt for a bombing suspect, erroneous onscreen text appeared naming the actress. The caption declared: “Marathon Bomber. He is 19-year-old Zooey Deschanel.” Deschanel learned of the TV captioning blunder over the weekend and tweeted: “Whoa! Epic closed captioning FAIL!” Lawrence, Kan.-based TV captioning service Caption Solutions says it and its captioner “deeply regret” the mistake. Company president Kala J. Patterson says in a statement issued Tuesday they “sincerely apologize for this error.” The suspect was 19-year-old college student Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who later was arrested and hospitalized. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "World News Now Discussion List" group.
