I'm not "on the fault line," but not so far away here. And here it
was long, but not violent, here. Chimes were begun a bit in old
clocks, and a lightweight but large chicken knick-knack fell off its
perch. Cat was on my lap (I was awake), and I made sure he didn't
scoot away in case further measures were needed.
