Carrie Fisher Reportedly Suffers Serious Heart Attack on Plane
Police were radioed for help around 1 p.m., THR is told.
Carrie Fisher reportedly suffered a heart attack on a plane Friday,
according to TMZ.
Airport police confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter units were responding
to someone with a medical emergency on a plane, but they could not
identify the victim, officer Alicia Hernandez said.
Police were radioed for help around 1 p.m. she said.
Several passengers who were on the United plane traveling from London to
LAX took to Twitter to say the 60-year-old Star Wars star was taken off
the plane by EMTs after staff and passengers attempted to revive her while
the aircraft landed.
