whether the subject of "You're So Vain" will be attending (assuming whoever it is is still alive). I mean, it would be kind of *irresistible*, wouldn't it? I imagine, in certain circles (and the subject of the song seems to qualify), NOT making an extravagant effort to see it would be rather suspicious! ;-)
