"The Bionic Woman" switched from ABC to NBC for its third season. Fred Silverman didn't like the demographics. (And then the rebooted version in 2007 also aired on NBC.)
We don't talk about that reboot in mixed company, the same way we don't bring up the second version of "The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3" [a] and don't even think about the remake of "The Prisoner". [a] There were _three_ of them. The first, from 1976 or so, is one of the bestest and most ultimate NYC period pieces. The second was filmed in Canada and was most likely the result of someone burning off some of that Canadian subsidy (tax and non tax tax) funding handed out to their local tv/movie production elitists. The third got a bit of traction as it starred Denzel Washington and one of the High Profile Scientologist Actors. No, not Tom Cruize, the other one.
