Don Farmer Dies: Original CNN Anchor, Former ABC News Correspondent Was 82
Don Farmer, who was one of the original anchors on CNN at its launch in
1980 after a long career as a correspondent for ABC News, died Wednesday
in Naples, FL. He was 82.
Farmer's wife, Chris Curle, told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that
he died from complications related to progressive supranuclear palsy, a
rare neurological brain disorder.
