obwnn: WABC is the flagship station of the NBC Blue Network,
home of WNN!
Chauncey was immortalized when Citibank (?) named one of
their "mail robots" [a] after him.
[a] yes, children, once upon a time people actually
worked together, in offices, in crowds!, and they
shuffled paper documents back and forth.
For a couple of years one of the "cool toys"
was a self directed and propelled cart which
would move up and down the aisles between
people's desks, stopiing to let the folk
pick up/place in mail and other small items.
(One of these was a plot device in the tv
show "The Americans" [b])
