Thanks you for posting this,  Petra was fabulous person.  Technically she 
started before I did in Engineering even though she was younger than I was 
then.  She left to be come a journalist at Columbia among other places then 
came back. in 2000 before I left for the west coast.   Since I'm in LA I 
didn't see her very much. However, my favorite story she did which I've 
been sharing was about learning to ride a bike in her thirties because in 
Key West she she liked to go, it was the best way to get around.   She 
inspired others to learn as adults.
