ABC News Executive Producer Marc Burstein to Leave Network After
Inauguration of Donald Trump
After decades with ABC News, Executive Producer Marc Burstein has
announced he'll retire from the network after the inauguration of Donald
Trump in January.
Burstein originally joined ABC News in the 1980s and worked on Good
Morning America and ABC World News Tonight before ascending to the role of
Executive Producer of the network's special event programming in 1997.
"I'vve had an extraordinary run and for the last 27 years it's been
my honor and a privilege to lead the special events team covering the most
significant events of our time," Burstein said in a memo to staffers,
which was originally reported by Variety.
