Hi Lawrence, is there any documentation or should I just look at the source to see how to code to the validator classes? If the latter then could you give me some pointers on which class to start with.

Many thanks,
Jeremy

As Arthur said, we'll look into a smaller distributable version of the WSDL validator.

It may help to know that the WSDL validator is available in the WTP WST download as a jar named org.eclipse.wst.wsdl.validation.VERSION#.jar. So, if the package is downloaded and extracted locally (as a previous post commented) there is a small jar that should be ready to go and can be packaged with Axis. If it's of interest, the WST zip also contains the WS-I test tools, which include the WS-I WSDL validator that is integrated into the WSDL validator. (That last part may be a little confusing but in short, if the WS-I validator is used a WSDL file will first be validated with the WSDL validator and only if valid will then be validated with the WS-I validator for conformance to the WS-I basic profile and attachments profile.)

Sorry for the confusion.

Yes, that sounds doable. I'll work with Lawrence on that. I won't be
able to do much until next week (away on business travel this week).
