I was investigating this prior to seeing your previous comment and came to the
same conclusion. I think I can fix this by removing the code in the
getTransferCoding() method that attempts to retrieve the transfer coding
default from binding operation. That code was based on my original
interpretation of Part 2 section 6.8.2. That section was rewritten recently
after clarification via the working group and the {transfer coding} and
{transfer coding default} properties are now all OPTIONAL. I will update the
code to reflect the current spec.
