Jeremy, I haven't noticed these messages (likely because my email client hides the details). Do you have some specific examples and (sorry to ask) usual culprits? Specifically, if I'm sending these messages it's unintentional and I'll have to play with my mail settings.
Thanks, Lawrence "Jeremy Hughes" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent by: [EMAIL PROTECTED] 12/06/2006 10:46 AM Please respond to woden-dev@ws.apache.org To woden-dev@ws.apache.org cc Subject stylized emails I've noticed some emails to this list can contain a lot more than just the 2 lines of content intended and are sometimes multipart. Whereas other Apache lists I'm on tend to not be multipart and just text/plain. There are some guidelines [1] which I found linked from the Incubator participation guide [2] on keeping emails to lists as text/plain and not stylized or multipart. IMHO, the graphics usually add nothing but push up the size of the mail and readbility. As a friendly request :-) what do you all think about using these guidelines? I also think for people hanging out on woden-dev just listening in, bloated emails might put them off causing them to unsubscribe.
