Attendees: Lawrence Mandel, Jeremy Hughes, Graham Turrell, John Kaputin, Arthur Ryman
Minutes 1. Open Action Items - Lawrence Mandel 2007-03-20 - All Woden committers should try to get tied in to the Apache Web of Trust. 2007-03-29 Lawrence: Neil Graham will sign my key. Graham and I cross signed. Graham: I spoke to Tim Ellison who said he can sign my key. 2007-03-20 - John will add Jiras to the M8 plan. 2007-03-29 John: I've gone through the Jira list and marked those that I think should be in M8. Within that M8 list I marked Jiras as high and low priority. I haven't put the Jiras on the milestone Web page. 2007-04-12 Lawrence: Neil Graham signed my key. I need to update the keys file. Arthur: I haven't created a key yet. I'll look up the note on the dev list to find out how to do this. Graham: Lawrence, now that Neil has signed your key am I tied in? Lawrence: Yes. However, the more signatures we have the better for tying in to the Web of Trust. The further you are away in the chain linking you to someone else the less they can trust you. 2. Milestone 7a Status - John Kaputin John: This is the interim release Axis2 has requested. I sent out a vote e-mail today. I heard some responses today. There are some extra jars in the build. Arthur: I wasn't able to successfully run M7a. I got schema validation errors. Have we updated the namespaces? John: Yes. Arthur: I tested from head. I'll do another test tonight. Jeremy: There are some jars in Woden from dependent projects without version numbers. Should we add version numbers? Lawrence: I don't think so. The XML jars contain versions in the packages. John: We also include the version numbers in our license files. 3. Milestone 8 (M8) Status - John Kaputin John: Nothing to report. I've been working on M7a. John: I'm updating the milestone plan with the list of Jiras. I don't have a date yet. Arthur: The WSDL spec is back in CR. I'll get involved again with the W3C and keep the team updated with any changes that will affect Woden. John: I suggest we look at a date next week after Arthur finds out some information about changes to the spec. John: Woden is showing all red on the test report. It shows all green when I run the tests. Seems like a glitch. 4. Development Discussion - All John: There was a comment about merging all of our license files into a single file. Should we do this? Arthur: I've seen this in Eclipse. John: Jeremy, do you know what Axis does? Jeremy: Axis has one license file. Lawrence: We need to consider the possibility of breaking up Woden into separate zips for Axiom and DOM. These zips would require different license files. John: I'll look on the process page. 5. Other Business - All No other business raised. *Note: Next week we're back to the regular time for the status call.
