in the standalone version of Wookie that I am working on (WOOKIE-) this is
handled by allowing a "local.widgetserver.properties" file in the working
directory. This will not work for deployments on different servlet engines, but
these can be configured during installation and therefore we may want to settle
for documenting how to do this rather than automating the process.
